Margaret Wright

screen-shot-2017-10-01-at-7-26-18-pmMargaret Wright is running for one of two positions on the Pueblo D-60 school board and comes with over 35 years of experience in the field as a paraprofessional for the hearing impaired, an ESL and english teacher, an assistant principal, and then principal at various schools.

She has a PhD in educational research and policy analysis, a master of school administration and served on the Colorado Juvenile Parole Board. She now serves as an educational consultant/advocate for the Truancy Improvement Project.

Wright says that Pueblo's children deserve a quality education, that there needs to be qualified teachers recruited and retained, a stable infrastructure and a strong relationship among education, business and our economy - that nothing is more important to our city and local work force than our children and schools.
